THE PROPERTY OF A TEXAS GENTLEMAN ART COLLECTION Featuring works by J.H.lwactman, Russ Turner and a collection of 18th and 19th century Old Master portraits, landscapes and genre paintings; Old Master sepia drawings and prints; works by Schiefer, Emeril and J. Diehl. A Picasso Madoura charger and plate FURNITURE Outstanding Venetian painted and Continental furniture including: Italian painted commode and slant front desk, Austrian, Biedermeier and Northern Italian commodes and cabinets, a fine Adam painted console, a Louis XV/ XVI Transitional commode, a set of ten Revival armchairs, refectory table, and court cupboard; a pair of Don Rousseau cabinets. Twentieth Century Design offerings include pieces from Alvar Alto, Boris Lacroix, J.C. Moreux, Marcel Breuer, Wilhelm Schmidt, Leon Jallot, Maurice Dufrene, Sue et Mare, Fontana Arte and Andre Lurcat for Thonet. DECORATIONS A fine pair of Orientalist terracotta figures, a large terracotta sculpture of a wrestler, large classical bronze and marble busts, a pair of bronze urns, Hagenauer small bronze sculpture, Venetian polychromed putti, figural brackets and pedestals, a gilt gargoyle, a parcel gilt clock garniture signed Jolly, Paris. Fine Venetian and French gilt wood carved mirrors and trumeaux, pairs of bronze and carved wood candelabra and lamps. English Rockingham, Royal Crown Derby dinner service, a Cauldon "Lazy Susan", Staffordshire platters, Paris and Chinese export porcelain.
